Micromax Informatics Limited (Micromax), which is the largest Indian domestic mobile handsets company, in terms of units shipped during the quarter ended March 31, 2010 and the third largest mobile handset seller as at March 31, 2010 (Source: IDC's India Quarterly Mobile Handsets Tracker, 1Q 2010, June 2010 release) today announced the launch of their first push email (ezmail) powered phone, the Q80 which is a 3G & Wi – Fi enabled QWERTY phone with an optical track pad. The main feature - Ezmail is a push email service from Micromax that allows the users to receive their mails instantly. Micromax Q80 Push Email is a dual SIM phone which is designed to run both 3G and 2G enabled SIMs.

The stylish metal finish of the phone adds on to the great features which the Q80 owns. It is packed with a 3.0 MP camera with the face and smile detection to capture the best moment of your life. It also features a front camera of 0.3 MP for making video calls. The phone has a music player with built in Yamaha amplifier for better music quality. The Q80 boasts a 2.4” TFT QVGA screen (320*240) with an optical trackpad and preloaded applications like Opera Mini, Snaptu, Bloomberg UTV, ngpay, Burnout, Newshunt, Facebook, Nimbuzz etc.

The phone comes with stereo speakers, universal 3.5 mm audio jack and built in Yamaha amplifier. The Q80 comes with an in-built memory of 68MB which is expandable upto 8 GB T-flash card. Q80 has a 1200mAh Li-ion Battery with a standby time of up to 130 hours and talk time of upto 5 hours.
